Trying to choose between an independent scuba instructor and a large dive shop? Colorado Diver Training is not a dive shop but a select group of independent scuba instructors committed to providing the best possible instruction for recreational, technical, and professional level courses.
Dive shops and independent scuba instructors operate in very different ways, so weigh the pros and cons before you pick a service provider.
We offer scuba diving courses with small classes at affordable prices. At Colorado Diver Training the cost of your scuba training will end up being less than you will pay a Dive Shop, while the size of your class will be either a private or semi-private class. Our classes rarely exceed 5 students.
Choosing to use an independent scuba professional will give you more face to face coaching and you will be able to learn more. A smaller class will also allow the instructor to provide a higher level of safety. A large dive shop will have a much larger class which in turn means the instructor will need to keep to a strict schedule and not have the time for individual assistance. Colorado Diver Training allows you to schedule your training at any time that suits you because we do not already have classes pre scheduled.
When choosing who to dive with find out about what is included in the price before you sign up. Check to see if you will have to make any additional payments for renting your scuba equipment, referral fees, etc. Some service providers may offer very low prices to attract you, but you may have to pay much more than you expected due to hidden costs.
